BIOECOLOGICAL FEATURES, THE PRODUCTIVITY OF GIPSYWORT (LYCOPUS EUROPAEUS L.) IN NATURE AND IN CULTIVATION
Issue:

Year:
2016
Medicinal raw material of Lycopus europaeus L. is the herb (herba Lycopi). Studied resources of Lycopus europaeus L. Bioproductivity of gipsywort
in nature is 0.1‒0.8 c/ga. This bioproductivity is insufficient for the production of drugs. Gipsywort under cultivation is well developed and passes
all phenological phases. Studied three ways of reproduction: seed, seedlings and reproduction aboveground shoots. It is established that the seeds require
stratification or applying growth regulators. When using the seed method of reproduction the productivity 0.7 c/ha. When using the seedling
method, the survival rate of plants was 95‒100%. The productivity was 1.7‒2.2 c/ga. The best method of plant reproduction is reproduction aboveground
shoots. When use planting by aboveground shoots the survival rate is 98-100%. Bioproductivity – 2.7‒3.6 c/ga.
