INDICATION CONDITIONS OF THE HABITAT OF MEDICINAL AND AROMATIC PLANTS IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

The natural flora of Russia is rich in medicinal and aromatic plants. Of the more than 11 thousand species of higher plants, about 200 species (1,8%) of the flora used in traditional and folk medicine. When organizing searches of habitats of medicinal and aromatic plants, the identification of reserves having difficulty. Usually when planning work in this case, summarize the surveys of previous years, select the reference material, analyzing published works, make a preliminary list of the flora of the region. Using the principles of the doctrine of life strategies of plants (for L.G. Ramenskyi) developed using phytoindicative scales for methods of coordinating natural phytocenoses that facilitates the search in the natural habitats of medicinal and aromatic plants. As a result, when planning field work on mapping and identification of resources of medicinal plants [4] necessary to carry out zoning of the territory and taking into account the typology of the area to search for useful plants.
