MODERN GEOINFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN INVESTIGATION OF RESOURCES MEDICINAL PLANTS

The development of geoinformation technologies enables the use of modern technical means for studying resources of medicinal plants. The conducted investigations on the geo-range are proved the possibility of use UAV for monitoring of the medicinal plants reserves. The plan coordinates accuracy of the photoplans and it's photographic quality make it possible to confidently decode plant communities during the flowering and to determine the reserve of raw material with the accuracy not below 10%, that it satisfies the accepted requirements. High level of images detailing makes it possible to establish the specific belonging of plants and it's precise biometric characteristics. Furthermore, appear the possibility of deciphering vegetation at the almost inaccessible territories (swamp, mountainous areas, etc), reductions in labor expense and prime cost of field works, possibility of the integration of stereo-deciphering in GIS; the joint compiling of digital map with the address attributes, the creation of photomap with the packet of stock-taking documentation; mobility in conducting of studies.
