The treatment chemical mutagen (dimethyl sulfate and diethyl sulfate of pot marigold seed was investigation. The influence of alkylating
agents on the germinating ability and plant productivity is depend of mutagen concentration. For concentration of dimethyl sulfate
mutagen is 0.04 %, for concentration of diethyl sulfate is 0.025%. The treatment of seed dimethyl sulfate mutagen in concentration
0.04% is prefer concentration 0.08%. Such plant with dimethyl sulfate mutagen has a higher amount of inflorescence, doubling inflorescence
and crop yeld. The percent of pollen mother cell with disadvantage in metaphase and anaphase is higher for plant with dimethyl
sulfate mutagen treatment and consist from 5.4 till 9.3%. Thus, the efficient of use chemical mutagen was submit for create of new material
Calendula officinalis L. The dependence of influence chemical mutagen type on genotype pot marigold was obtained.
