THE STUDY OF BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF THE DRY EXTRACT OF GOLDEN THOROUGHWAX (BUBLEURUM AUREUM L.) GRASS USING SPECIFIC ENZYMATIC TEST SYSTEMS IN VITRO

In this work the extract of Golden Thoroughwax grass (Bubleurum aureum L.) was used how the object of investigations. To study the biologically active properties the specific enzyme biotest-systems in vitro glutathione reductase- and catalase-base as well as NO-synthase and xanthine oxidase-basewere applied. Direct influence studied substances on enzymes glutationreductase (GR), cat-alase (CAT), NO-syntase and xanthine oxidase playing a regulatory role in adaptation processes was defined. Compounds with antioxi-dant, antimicrobial, adaptogenic and anti-inflammatory activity can be detected using complex of these specific enzyme bio-test sys-tems. It was found mean antimicrobial characteristics and the anti-inflammatory activity of biologically active substances contained in a dry extract of Golden Thoroughwax (Bupleurum aureum L.).
