Contemporary foreign and domestic publications concerning the issues of pharmacologic treatment of ovarian cancer patients are reviewed. Clinical significance of anti-angiogenic drugs, folate receptor inhibitors, PARP, WEE1 and immunotherapy for platinum-resistant relapses is discussed. This part of the review is devoted to hormone therapy for ovarian cancer. Taking into account the key clinical, morphological and molecular-biological characteristics of ovarian cancer, the published data on the prognosis of drug therapy for these neoplasms are discussed.
