The article presents the results of screening analysis by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) followed by detection in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum at a wavelength of 245 nm in the species of the genus Minuartia Loefl. Ex L. of the Caryophyllaceae Juss. In the studied species (М. rubella (Wahl.) Hiern, М.elegans (Cham. et Schlecht.) Schischk., М.macrocarpa (Pursh) Ostenf. М.biflora (L.) Schinz. et Tell., М.leiosperma Klok., М.setacea (Thuill) Hayek, М.taurica (Stev) Asch, М.imbricatа (M. Bieb.) Woronow), steroid compounds, in particular ecdysterone and polypodine B, flavonoid vicenin, as well as other polyphenols of interest for medicine and pharmacy were found. This study allows us to conclude that it is necessary and promising to further study the qualitative and quantitative composition of plants of the studied genus for the subsequent use of its as producers of biologically active sub-stances.
