MONITORING OF CHROME IN SOILS AND PLANTS OF KRASNOYARSK REGION

The gross content of chrome in soils of farm lands of Krasnoyarsk Region fluctuates from 4.1 to 57.6 mg/kg. The content of chrome in soils is con-nected with unequal conditions of their soil formation, distinctions in particle size distribution and concentration of the element in bedrock. The greatest content of chrome is observed in the soils of Nazarovsky forest-steppe zone. The lowered concentration of chrome is typical for the soils of Minusinsk forest-steppe facilitated on particle size distribution. Average content of chrome in different subtypes of chernozyoms is equal to 26.1 mg/kg, intrazonal – 23.9, gray forest – 23.8, sod-podsolic – 21.8 mg/kg. The background of gross content of chrome in soils on the area of 2.54 million hectares is equal to 22.4 mg/kg or 0.3 Clark. The amount of mobile chrome in agrocenosis depends on the fertility of soils, weather conditions and specific features of plants. In chernozyoms, gray forest soils, it is dark-brown and it is dark-color inundated soils concentration of chrome fluctuates from 0.11 to 0.31 mg/kg or 0.47–1.07% of the gross contents. Weather conditions, agrophysical and agrochemical properties of soils, the supply with mobile form of the element and biological features of crops have impact on the content of chrome in plants. The average content of chrome in plants fluctuates from 0.10 to 0.37 mg/kg. Higher content of chrome is characteristic of hay of long-term cereals and bean grass (0.35–0.37 mg/kg), summer barley and peas grain (0.21–0.25 mg/kg). The lowered concentration of chrome is noted in the yield of potatoes and vegetable cultures (0.10–0.13 mg/kg). According to its contents in the soils and plants of the region chrome does not create obstacles for receiving ecologically safe crop production.
