В промышленности активно используются различные методы экстракции с применением этанола, эфиров, кислот и др. Их применение сопряже-но с многоступенчатой утилизацией, необходимостью определения и удаления остатка растворителя из готового продукта в связи с их токсич-ностью. В настоящее время актуальным является поиск новых экстрагентов, отвечающих принципам «зеленой химии», таким как использование возобновляемых растительных ресурсов и альтернативных растворителей. Глубокие эвтектические растворители Deep eutectic solvents (DES) представляют интерес для современной фармацевтической технологии в качестве альтернативы традиционным органическим экстрагентам. Они характеризуются образованием сильных водородных связей и из-за чрезвычайно низкого давления паров, широко используются в химии поли-меров и синтетической органической химии. Перспективы использования DES обусловлены низкой токсичностью, биоразлагаемостью, возмож-ностью селективного извлечения конкретного вещества и возобновления экстрагента. В многочисленных трудах зарубежных ученых описаны результаты изучения влияния DES на выход различных групп биологически активных веществ как из высушенных, так и из свежих растений. Процесс экстракции глубокими эвтектическими растворителями основан на замещении молекул растворителя, извлекаемыми биологически ак-тивными веществами с разрывом существующих водородных связей и образованием новых. Глубокие эвтектические растворители хорошо про-явили себя и для экстракции групп соединений, и для селективного извлечения отдельных биологически активных молекул. При этом примене-ние DES характеризуется сложностью выбора исходных субстанций, необходимостью подбора их соотношения, агрегационной нестабильностью некоторых систем. В обзоре представлены данные о технологии изготовления DES. Отмечены наиболее часто встречающиеся компоненты, температуры плавления готовых смесей и информация об их стабильности. Были проанализированы данные о токсичности полученных смесей и их возможной биологи-ческой активности, так как многие компоненты являются первичными метаболитами. Обобщены существующие данные о токсичности и экс-тракционной способности эвтектических растворителей за последние 20 лет.
