At the article results of studying of a cryo conservation of seeds of Hyssopus officinalis, Thymus marschallianus and Nigella sativa are considered. Within the researches optimization of a container for a cryo preservation, conditions of defrosting, kind and concentration of cryo protectors are per-formed. Results have shown that freezing of Hyssopus officinalis’ seeds at extra critical low temperatures needs to be carried out in a plastic container with defrosting on a water bath. For Nigella sativa the optimum conditions of cryo preservation with the maximum storage of seed viability are the plastic container and slow defrosting at the room temperature. The best results for seeds of Tymus marschallianus are revealed using a container from a foil and slow defrosting at the room temperature. Use of cryo protectors hasn't allowed receiving identical results for seeds of herbs. So, the optimum cryo protector for seeds of Hyssopus officinalis has deter-mined glucose in concentration of 40%, for seeds of Thymus marschallianua – glycerin in concentration of 20%. Application of cryo protectors for seeds of Nigella sativa is low-resulted. So, germination in all variants of experience has appeared below control. Therefore application of cryo protectors for Nigella sativa’ seeds is not expedient.
